Global Initiative to Eradicate Forced Labor in Supply Chains

January 26, 2022

STOCKHOLM — Today, Quizrr, a leading EdTech provider of human and labor rights training, announced the launch of a worldwide program that will educate workers in global supply chains on labor rights. The company, which uses gamification to transform important topics such as responsible recruitment and employment into relatable and engaging content in local languages, will initially train a quarter of a million factory workers through a program funded by The Walt Disney Company’s Supply Chain Investment Program.

During the span of 2022, Quizrr’s training suite will be implemented in high-risk supply chains across Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Taiwan), followed by Central and South America (Mexico and Brazil).

The training is unique in that it uses a multi-level approach to target workers and managers in factories, sourcing companies as well as labor agents. By partnering with leading corporations and deep-impact organizations, the funding will make it possible to support companies’ ESG agendas towards eradicating forced labor more efficiently.

This industry agnostic solution does not just make it easier for corporations to address risks in their supply chains, it is also an efficient way of engaging workers and showing them how they can protect their own rights.” said Sofie Nordström, Co-founder, Quizrr. “We are extremely excited to see both current and new clients already joining the program to tackle this very important global issue.

The following industry leading companies will roll out the Quizrr Responsible Recruitment and Employment program across Southeast Asia, Central and South America during 2022 and onwards:

Axfood, HP Inc. and Migros.

More companies will be announced onwards.
