Quizrr, a leading EdTech provider of human and labor rights training, is proud to announce that it has been selected a 2022 STITCH for RMG: GLOBAL INNOVATION CHALLENGE Winner.

The competition, which is backed by the H&M Foundation (H&MF), BRAC Social Innovation Lab (SIL), and The Asia Foundation, provides funding for innovations that aim to improve the competitiveness of Bangladesh’s Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector while safeguarding the jobs of its female workers.

Quizrr was selected among 1258 global teams from 39 countries by an independent panel of judges and will receive support and up to $30,000 from a total grant of $180,000.

“With the support of this grant, we specifically look forward to accelerate our efforts to equip women in the RMG sector with knowledge, skills and tools on communication, equality, leadership qualities and digital literacy,” said Sofie Nordström, Co-founder, Quizrr. “We are currently expanding our focus for female garment workers in Bangladesh, adding more learning modules on gender equality and anti-harassment (GBVH), in various collaborations and we see this a vital stepping stone to enhance focus on gender equality.”

Since Bangladesh is heavily dependent on the RMG sector, which employs around 4 million people of which 59% are women, Quizrr established its first presence in the country in 2015. Since then, Quizrr has reached close to 300 000 factory workers with digital training on human and labor rights worldwide. 168 000 (60 per cent) of those have been women.
